I started this business after a solo trip to Hawaii in 2004.  Since then, I’ve had an opportunity to travel this world – some of my favorite places have been Italy, Ireland, New England, northern Wisconsin and the place I now call home, Colorado.  I can guarantee that I’m not done traveling yet since one of my favorite quotes goes like this -

‘I haven’t been everywhere, but it’s on my list.’  — Susan Sontag

Although I started shooting at the age 5 with a Cabbage Patch ® camera using disposable flash cubes, I’ve since graduated to the digital world.  My camera of choice is the Canon 5D.  Despite having shot all of my photo collection in digital format, I try not to utilize the digital dark room too often.  More often than not, I set up my shot in the moment so I don’t have to tweak it later.

This approach gives me ample time to enjoy all life has to offer.  My best friend, aka husband, and I recently moved to Colorado so we have lots of exploring to do.  Our families live in Wisconsin so when presented with an opportunity, we don’t hesitate making trips back ‘home.’  I have a new-found love for exercise that I choose to fulfill with workouts with my personal trainer, yoga, spinning and running.
